Girls of Spring Break

Each year millions of college students get away from school and travel to some of the world’s best places to party during Spring Break.

Lasting memories,  high blood alcohol levels and parties at the beach are all that matter as students put down their books and get their party on.

The beach brings out the bikinis, spring break brings out the hotties and the alcohol does the rest.

Thanks to BeachBelievers let’s take a look at the top destinations!

Panama City, Florida

Panama City is the most popular Spring Break destination in the U.S. with over 27 miles of sugary white sand beaches along Gulf Coast. It’s also a popular choice because it boasts some of the world’s largest beach clubs: Spinnaker, La Vela, Sharky’s and Harpoon Harry’s.

As many as 400,000 people are expected to descend upon the beach community this year between March 1 and April 15, according to the tourism office. MTV has included Panama City as home for its official coverage of Spring Break the past couple of years!

South Beach, Florida

Just east of Miami, South Beach boasts beaches on Biscayne Bay on one side and the Atlantic on the other. Trendy Art Deco themes, neon lights and the high fashion that is what South Beach is all about. It’s also a hot spot for celebrities, who are attracted to the trendy restaurants and clubs. After a day at the beach, be sure to dress to impress when you head out for a night on the town.

Cancun, Mexico

During March and April, Cancun descends into pure craziness. Beautiful girls, hot guys, gorgeous beaches… add a little music and booze and you’ve got Spring Break in Cancun. And if for some reason you grow tired of the Cancun scene, you can always hop the ferry to Cozumel or the bus to Playa del Carmen for slightly slower-paced sandy paradises.

San Padre Island, Texas

Like everything in Texas, Spring Break in South Padre is huge! Deep down south in Texas (not far from the Mexican border) hundreds of thousands of students flock to South Padre island for its 25 miles of beach, warm water and, of course, one of the most active and wildest spring break party scenes you’ll ever see.

Negril/Montego Bay, Jamaica

Being called “the” place to be this Spring Break 2011, Jamaica has long played host to thousands of students looking for a tropical spring break destination, specifically Montego Bay and Negril. While there are plenty of bars and clubs to fulfill your party needs, a spring break in Jamaica also offers plenty of day adventures, such as cliff jumping, waterfall climbing, snorkeling, booze and sunset cruising.

Lake Havasu, Arizona

When you imagine Spring Break, Arizona’s dry dessert probably doesn’t come to mind. But thousands of students from across the southwestern U.S. are turning Lake Havasu into a new Spring Break destination.

Bikinis, boats, and booze come together along the Colorado River to create a wild Spring Break party scene like you’d find anywhere else. Days are typically spent on a boat drinking and socializing with friends, and at night the fun moves to Lake Havasu’s small but very happening party scene.
