This game had some interest as the White Sox brought up one of their young prospects. A genuine story. If you get a chance, look up how the CHW told the youngster Edgar Quero that he was being called up to the SHOW! Very touching…
On to the game itself. A’s started early with a Butler Double and then coming in on another Double for Wilson. Was a pretty quiet game until the 5th when Butler jacked one out of the park. In the 6th, Rooker singled and then JJ Bleday took one out of the park making the score 4-0. There is nobody hotter than Soderstrom of the A’s. He hit another homer, making it a total of 9 so far, leading the league. He is smoking hot! A’s scored another run in the 9th when Rooker took one deep. This one was a completely lopsided game, 8-0.
