BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — LSU standout wide receiver and Walker native Brian Thomas Jr. is forgoing his senior year, declaring for the 2024 NFL Draft Tuesday, Thomas announced on his social media.
Thomas is coming off a career-best season, racking up 1,117 receiving yards on 68 receptions for 17 touchdowns. His season ranks 12th in the NCAA for receiving yards. Thomas led the NCAA in receiving touchdowns as well.
Thomas is considered a first-round NFL Draft pick by many mock drafts.
Thomas is the second LSU Tiger to declare for the NFL Draft Tuesday with defensive lineman Mekhi Wingo announcing his decision earlier in the day.
