Santtu Tahvanainen, returning from missing all of the 2024 PBA Tour season due to a knee injury, claimed the top seed in the stepladder finals at the Illinois Classic at Bowlero Vernon Hills in Vernon Hills, Illinois. The winner will claim $30,000 from the tournament’s $200,000 prize fund, with second place earning $18,000, third receiving $13,000, fourth $10,000 and fifth $9,000. The top 32 players in the field will cash. Defending champion Marshall Kent finished out of the money in 70th place.
