NEW:February’s Snow Moon may be clouded by rain this year
The event started on Friday.
On Sunday, the top 12 players remaining battled it out for the top prize.
The host of the event said it’s been a great economic boost for the area.
“It’s been a great boom for Myrtle Beach because as we know this isn’t the season for Myrtle Beach itself, but it is the bowling season which typically goes from now through April. So, it’s kind of off-kilter, but it brings some life and vitality to the beach. So, we’ve really enjoyed it, the people have come from all over the United States. First time many of them have been to Myrtle Beach, and they just enjoy what they’ve seen,” said Larry Nowak, the Owner of Myrtle Beach Bowl.
The event was held at Myrtle Beach Bowl, which also hosts the PBA Junior tournament in September.
