The UFC bantamweight champion and business partner to Jake Paul, ‘Suga’ Sean O’Malley, was fired up to see ‘The Problem Child’ earn another big win.
Back in June, UFC champion Sean O’Malley announced a new business partnership with Jake Paul for the company ‘W’, and it’s safe to say that the bantamweight king was delighted with the size of the W that ‘The Problem Child’ earned himself last night both in the ring and on the mic.

Jake Paul dropped ‘Platinum’ Mike Perry three times en route to a dominant sixth-round stoppage last night in Florida, yet that was still not the biggest story of The Problem Child’s evening as he later called out UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira.
Remarkably, Pereira himself would end up Facetiming Paul before he left the ring and was seemingly open to the idea of a boxing match against the popular American.
As fans begin to ponder what a Jake Paul vs Alex Pereira boxing fight would really look like, UFC bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley has offered his thoughts on both the performance vs Perry and the callout of Poatan.

It’s safe to say that ‘Suga’ Sean O’Malley was hyped to see his business partner earn another stoppage win in Tampa, Florida with his immediate reaction to the third and final knockdown being an expletive-laced celebration of Paul’s power – the seventh finish of his fledgling career.
“A few of those knockdowns were pretty f**** brutal, god damn that was sweet,” hailed O’Malley via his official YouTube channel, noting how “Jake looks like he’s improving every single fight,” as attention now turns to the controversial upcoming fight with Mike Tyson.
That bout is set for November 15 on Netflix, with O’Malley making an early prediction that the contest could play out eerily similar to the fight fans just witnessed against Perry.
“I’m pretty excited for [the Mike Tyson fight], I feel like it might look similar to that – I mean Mike Tyson is almost 60, Jake’s 30 years younger so I feel like it might look similar to that [finish].”
Yet given O’Malley’s status as one of the best mixed martial artists on the planet, it’s no surprise that the bantamweight king was blown away by the callout of fellow champion Alex Pereira – although he also doubts whether that offer could even be made.
“All right boys, what’s next for Jake Paul? Obviously, he’s fighting Mike Tyson in November, [but] he called out Alex Pereira, that fight won’t happen unless Dana says, ‘I’m sick of seeing Jake beat all these UFC guys I’m I’m f**** giving it.’
“But imagine Alex Pereira versus Jake Paul, dude – Alex has crazy power in both hands but the dude literally throws from his hips, like he’s there to be hit… That was a big thing about Mike Perry; he was there to be hit, his chin was floating, he was off balance, his chin was just kind of there to be hit.”
Understandably, O’Malley “loves the call out” of Pereira, explaining how the possibility of such a coveted matchup being put together will be elevated tenfold should Paul also finish Tyson in November.
“Jake is doing such a good job [because] after a fight, the biggest thing is what’s next and you got to set yourself up for those opportunities and Jake’s doing that better than anyone right now. He’s calling out who’s next, he already has a fight booked, he’s doing a really good job.
“People want to see you against the actual best guys in the world so it’s hard, he definitely has boxing skills, he’s definitely dedicated, definitely very high level but how good is he? You can’t really determine that until you see him against the guy in the Top 30.”
Rather than seeing his W business partner taking on professional boxers, O’Malley would prefer to see Paul continue to face ex-MMA stars, with Mike Perry being the fifth former UFC fighter on his resume.
“I’ll do Jake Paul versus Mike Perry MMA, Jake Paul versus Mike Perry bare knuckle, Jake Paul versus Nate Diaz even… I personally enjoy watching him fight these MMA guys, I’ll watch any Jake fight, [but] I get f**** hyped for these crossover fights – I f****** love these crossover fights.”
Whilst it’s unlikely that Paul would ever accept a rematch in bare-knuckle boxing, O’Malley actually warned Mike Perry about jumping straight back into action in favor of some well-deserved time away for rest and recovery.
“Mike Perry is the world champion in bare knuckle fighting, he’s going to go back over there and do his thing and probably continue to dominate that, [but] he got hit an absurd amount of times in the head so you’re going to have to take some serious time off.”
Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson is expected to take place via Netflix on November 15, with O’Malley himself also expected to defend his bantamweight title against Merab Dvalishvili at either UFC 306 at The Sphere or UFC 307 in Utah.
